The 26th China International Adhesives & Sealants Exhibition was held in Shanghai during September 4th to 6th. As the only international brand event in the adhesive industry that has received authoritative UFI certification, this exhibition attracted more than 1,500 companies from more than 30 countries and regions.
Yantai Donghua appeared at the exhibition with a variety of adhesive raw materials, displaying alicyclic epoxy resin, multi-functional epoxy resin, epoxy resin curing agent, additives and other products, as well as innovative solutions in areas such as adhesives, surface materials, electrical insulation materials, composite materials and 3D printing materials.
During the technical lecture session of the exhibition, our product manager gave an informative speech on the characteristics of alicyclic epoxy products, curing methods and applications in the adhesive industry.
Innovative materials - High performance epoxy resin
Alicyclic epoxy resin is a general term for resins in which the epoxy group is directly connected to the alicyclic structure. Epoxy groups are produced by the oxidation of alicyclic olefins, not like the traditional epoxy resins which are synthesized from epichlorohydrin.
Yantai Donghua's series of alicyclic epoxy resin products are used in the fields of potting adhesives, electronic packaging adhesives, module adhesives, repair adhesives, stone adhesives and other adhesive fields, and have excellent performance:

Curing method of cycloaliphatic epoxy
Alicyclic epoxy resins have various curing systems such as light curing, thermal curing, and photothermal composite.
The green and environmentally friendly "alicyclic-thermal cationic" system has emerged based on the increasing environmental protection and health requirements of various industries in China. While traditional amino resins have formaldehyde problems, and phenolic epoxy has BPA problems, the "alicyclic-thermal cationic" system can be well used in adhesives, coatings, composite materials and other fields.
